Sorry I'm plugging my poetry, I'm afraid it's the only way
To get known out there by people, listening to what I have to say
Some are content with a quiet life, I have a different way
I want to get known for my poetry, what more can I say?
Why not have a personal poem done by Barry? (small charge made to cover costs) Please email me for further details. All emails received will get a reply
A letter from Michael Howard

Humphrey Lyttelton and Eton
Humphrey Lyttelton Humphrey Lyttelton was born at Eton, where his father, The Hon. G. W. Lyttelton (second son of the 8th Viscount Cobham), was a house master. From Sunningdale Preparatory School, Lyttelton duly progressed to Eton College. At Eton he developed his love for jazz, and being inspired by the legendary Louis Armstrong, he taught himself the trumpet and formed a quartet there in 1936 which included future journalist Ludovic Kennedy on drums.
In recent years a very generous building programme has doubled the size and scope of the Eton Music Schools. The new building consists of a purpose-built orchestral rehearsal room, recording studio, computer room with twelve PC workstations, a pre/post-production suite, rock band studio, electric guitar teaching room, and twelve other teaching and practice rooms. The old Music School has been rebuilt. It now consists of three floors of teaching, rehearsal and practice rooms, together with a 250-seater Concert Hall, academic teaching rooms, a library and an organ room
Eton is committed to raising funds for Scholarships and Bursaries, including Music Scholarships. Those interested in making a gift for this purpose are encouraged to complete a donation form www.etoncollege.com/UserFiles/File/Donations.pdf
